The Slaley Hall Golf Club is one of the finest in Newcastle, if not the whole United Kingdom. It's a par 72 championship course that measures 6,482 yards from the back tees and can be a difficult test for any golfer. The English Golf Union has given the course four stars, citing the championship tees as a highlight.
The Slaley Hall Golf Club has a variety of tees to accommodate most golfers. You do not, however, need to be an expert golfer to enjoy the course because you will be able to find a tee that is appropriate for your skill level. Golf buggies can be rented for each course, and tee times can be reserved in advance. You must dress appropriately for each course, as any avid golfer will remember, and stick to the active guidelines.
