There is no need for an introduction to The Belfry's excellent golf courses, which have hosted the prestigious Ryder Cup Tournament on four occasions. Guests at The Belfry will walk in the footsteps of their golfing idols on the Brabazon Course and the PGA National Course, while the Derby Golf Course offers a fun alternative to the two flagship layouts.
The Belfry Hotel and Resort feature 319 rooms and suites, two restaurants and two bars, the Bel Air Nightclub, 22 conference and function suites, a state-of-the-art leisure club and a premium spa, a PGA golf academy, an onsite golf store, and three world-class golf courses, The Brabazon, PGA National, and The Derby, all located in 550 acres of North Warwickshire countryside in England.
The belfry Restaurant and Bars offer excellent dining in four distinct locations, including Sam's Club House, which features big screens showcasing the latest sporting action. The Ryder Grill offers a casual lunch and dinner menu with breathtaking views of the fairways. The Caddyshack Clubhouse is also on site, with an exclusive private viewing area where golfers can watch all the action on the course, as well as a fabulous Smoke & Wine Bar with beautiful lake views where guests can unwind before dinner or linger for a long lunch.
A fully fitted gym, as well as a pool, sauna, and solarium, are available to guests at the Leisure Club. It is forbidden to wear denim or jeans. Both shirts must be tucked in and have a collar or mock neck.
The Derby golf course has no handicap restrictions. The Belfry Golf Course Etiquette and the Rules of Golf must be observed at all times.
Dogs are not permitted at The Belfry. But don't be tempted to leave Faldo at home!
Three golf courses are available at the resort. The main tournament venue is the Brabazon Course, which is followed by the PGA National and The Derby.
The Belfry Golf Club's Brabazon course was always going to be a difficult act to follow, but the PGA National Golf Course handled it admirably. The PGA is widely considered to be the best Belfry course. This course is demanding, but the broad greens make it fun to play.
